The Devotion Cord
An Acts 2:42 Prayer Bead Necklace
A sunrise-to-sunset prayer companion for the early church
The Devotion Cord is a Christ-centered prayer bead necklace born from the rhythm of Acts 2:42. Where the traditional rosary meditates on the mysteries through the intercession of the saints, the Devotion Cord walks the believer through the four devotions of the early church — the teaching, the fellowship, the breaking of bread, and the prayers — with Christ at the center of every bead. Each bead carries a verse of Scripture or a sacred prayer, inviting the wearer to pray without ceasing from sunrise to sunset.

The Design
A necklace meant to be worn, a prayer meant to be touched.
Olive Wood Beads
Hand-turned beads from the olive trees of the Holy Land, warm and grain-textured — each one unique, like the prayers it carries.
Waxed Cotton Cord
A supple, durable cord in deep amber, knotted between each bead so the fingers find their place without looking — the cord teaches the prayer by touch alone.
The Cross Pendant
A simple, early-church style cross — not ornate, not a crucifix. Christ is risen; the cross is empty. The pendant is the beginning and the end of the cord.

I. The Apostles' Teaching
The Word · Acts 2:42

II. The Fellowship
The Shared Life · Acts 2:44

John 13:34
III. The Breaking of Bread
The Table · Acts 2:42, 46

This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.
Luke 22:19
I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

Revelation 3:20
IV. The Prayers
The Hour by Hour · Acts 2:42
They devoted themselves to prayer. On each of these seven beads, let the hours return you to the presence of God — the hidden engine of the early church.
When you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Matthew 6:6
If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
