Acts 2:1-4
Pentecost
Suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit did not come as a feeling to be summoned but as a wind that blew where it willed. One hundred twenty ordinary disciples waited, and the promise fell. The wonder began not with effort but with surrender — and it has not stopped. That very day, three thousand souls were added. The first harvest of the Spirit's outpouring was not a meeting — it was a movement. The same Spirit who fell at Pentecost indwells every believer today.
Watch for this today
Today, pause and ask the Spirit to fill you afresh. Wait. Listen. He still comes to ordinary people who make room.
